Dr. Ambedkar to Karl Marx – Life Changing Lessons by Nikhil Sablania
Learned scholar Nikhil Sablania explains that how reading Dr. Ambedkar, the Buddha and Karl Marx has changed his views and thinking pattern.
As I have written in my previous article that how I came to know about Karl Marx and Gautam Buddha after reading Doctor Ambedkar. It has been a life change reading for me. Though, I want everyone to read them but I have found people are not taking them seriously. Now you just think about yourself what you are doing in life. You think about yourself that are you giving time for thinking. You think about yourself that are you giving time for reading. Now take a break. And then think that why you are not giving time for thinking. Why you are not giving time for reading. Why you are not getting time for yourself. Now just imagine the world which I am going to show. But I could see that world because it is because of Doctor Ambedkar that I came to know about Karl Marx. There is a misunderstanding that Doctor Ambedkar rejected Marx. It is not true. I have translated books of Dr. Ambedkar. I have found that he was clear about communism. Only problem was that there is a precondition. What Dr. Ambedkar says is that cast system should be annihilated for the growth of communism. Also, there is one thing we also look into about communism that what effect is produces on our mind after reading Karl Marx. Though, I am still reading text of Marx but still there are two observation I made through the effect of reading on my mind.
Now I am going to tell you about an observation by my mind and that observation can tell you that how reading such eminent philosophers can change your mind and the way of thinking. But you will think only when you will read. You will read then you will think. Only then changes can be brought to your life and in the life of our future generations. Now read this carefully.
There are many roads in India where you can see fruit vendors selling fruits. My mind after reading the social teachings of Karl Marx starts thinking about this crowd of vendors. I was thinking that these two hundred men with a mind gifted by god is doing same activity for simple livelihood. They are wasting their labour. They are wasting their time for selling fruits. Same fruits could be sold in a single place by two or four people. What rest of the people would do? They can go to libraries or they can do whatever they wanted to do. The main thing is that the human mind is wasted. When we are utilising a simple labour we are also wasting a brilliant human mind. Mind is not not an easy thing to get. It is the human mind which is unique in this universe. What we are doing by producing such a wasted work of selling fruits on a single road by two hundred people? This is not only one thing but look at our markets. What we all are doing? We are not dancing, we are not enjoying ourselves, we are not reading, we are not entertaining, we are not getting time for leisure, not getting time for thinking and what we all are doing is wasting our mind on many small things. Now it is because what freedom we have got is a wasted freedom. We think we are free but actually there is no one to guide us. There is no one to stop us from selling single fruit by two hundred people on the same road and to the same people. There is no one to stop us from wasting our labour on unnecessary things. Such a break starts with thinking. But how we will think? Who will allow us for this thinking? I think for this we have to become a philosopher. But to get such philosophy we have to read Karl Marx, Dr. Ambedkar and other eminent scholar.
I hope that my message is clear. I am not writing extensively. The main thing is that I got a such kind of mind or thinking only after reading Ambedkar then Buddha and then Karl Marx. Thank you very much for reading this. – Nikhil Sablania
